This site is a tribute to Clare Spencer, who died on 5th May 2022.  She was much loved and will always be remembered.

Thank you all for coming or viewing remotely and especially to Maggie and Gemma. I’ve just counted up the money from the tins: a whopping £312.80 to SAMH and there will be much more from online donations. 

Last week:

Clare's friend Eleanor is organising a collection of Clare’s work to exhibit as a wee homage to her at the reception. It will be not be limited to her jewellery - it could be something that you worked on together, a pebble from where you used to swim, drift wood ...

El's plan is to have a mini exhibition.  She will collect ideas and images before the 7th to get an idea of how to display them all. She'll ask for a short text about why the piece is important, and the meaning behind it. You will only be giving her the work on the day and it’ll be displayed for a few hours. You will then take the work away with you when you leave. 

So if any of you have pieces of hers or other pieces can you send a photo to Celia (ceelsduffy@gmail.com) and I'll pass it on. And spread the word!
